Under her leadership, she designed, implemented and led a statewide professional development program, directly training over 11,000 K-12 school-based staff—including principals, vice-principals, nurses, front office administrators, teachers, and transportation professionals—on the technical and culturally appropriate administration of BinaxNOW Rapid Antigen tests, reducing the transmission of COVID-19 by 52%.

Among her signature initiatives, the K-12 Clean Air Initiative stands out — delivering over 100,000 Medify HEPA air purifiers to more than 300 schools statewide, a $68.6 million dollar deployment that safeguarded the health of hundreds of thousands of students and staff.
