Al-Kīmiyā Aakemaj embodies the ancient philosophy of “divine adornment,” a mindful and sacred practice of intentionally dressing one’s body - the corporeal temple - to honor the divine and access higher knowledge.
al-Kīmiyā, or al-khīmiya, the Arabic word (الكيمياء or الخيمياء), meaning "the art of alloying metals, alchemy," or “divine science.”Aakemaj, a term coined by our Founder and her personal moniker, is the embodiment of “freedom,” “divine power,” and “immortality.”
Our full-service boutique specializes in Applied Mythology Education, Advanced Divine Feminine Spiritual Concierge Coaching, and Sacred Women's Apparel, featuring handcrafted jewelry, handmade leather handbags, and premium clothing. Our intentional products and services create a divinely inspired ecosystem that supports women in honoring sacred feminine spirituality through conscious embodiment.

Meet Our CEO

With over 17 years as a Social Transformational Educator, Change Management Consultant and Executive Leadership Training Consultant, J.R. Baker-Flowers has infused her extensive expertise in social change methodologies, with over 15 years of sacred Divine Feminine Mythology and Esoteric Spiritual education.
In 2015, she received a Grant from The Puffin Foundation, Ltd. for her documentary media work excavating the historical etymologies of Divine Feminine and Matriarchal Goddess Archetypes as a solution to varying forms of socialized misogyny and sexism in private and public spaces.
Between 2018 - Present, J.R. has taught advanced Master Courses integrating Gnostic Goddess Mythologies, Womb Rituals, and Spiritual Alchemy to over 2,850 women globally. She holds a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, GA, and a Masters Degree of Arts in Community Development and Planning from Clark University, Worcester, MA. She also holds a Professional Certification in Inclusive Leadership, an Advanced Training Graduate Certification in Applied Mythology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a NeuroMindfulness Coach Practitioner Certification from the NeuroMindfulness Institute, and a Specialization Certificate in Archaeology from Rice University.
